The purpose and mission of HRCSD is to provide municipal services to the Village of Heritage Ranch in a manner that is efficient, safe and in accordance with applicable law. These services include the supply of drinking water, the disposal of waste water, removal of solid waste, parks and recreation and retail gasoline.
The District’s service area takes in some 5,361 acres, which is less than the entire Village of Heritage Ranch (the certificated parcel area was excluded with the change from CSA 19 to HRCSD). Generally speaking, we are bounded on the west by Lake Nacimiento, on the north by Nacimiento River, on the east by Camp Roberts, and on the south by said certificated parcels.
The County approved master plan for Heritage Ranch allows for 2,900 residential units. To date, 2090 lots are approved within final subdivisions of which about 1720 lots actually have some type of residence. |
