Collection Facility For Household Hazardous Waste

 

As a part of the Diversion Program for Heritage Ranch, a collection facility has been located within Heritage Ranch CSD’s corporation yard for receiving household hazardous waste.

 

Examples of such waste include paint products, automotive products, household cleaners, pool cleaners, yard pesticides and batteries. These are considered “toxic” and therefore should not go into landfills due to the possible groundwater basin contamination.

 

Trained HRCSD personnel will be responsible to receive the material on Fridays during the hours of 1:00 to 3:00 PM or upon special request if unable to meet this schedule. There is no fee or charge to the residents of Heritage Ranch for this service.
